Mackintosh Corporation Vice President Dammy Valera was elected to the Board of Trustees of the Philippine Green Building Council (PHILGBC). The election took place during the recently held Building Green 2013.
Dammy is a Certified BERDE Professional (CBP) and is, amongst other things, in charge of the Mackintosh Green Building Consultancy as well as its Environmental Program. Mackintosh Corporation is a member of the Philippine Green Building Council.
PHILGBC is a member of the World Green Building Council. The World Green Building Council is represented by Green Building Councils in more than 90 countries worldwide. The BERDE (Building for Ecologically Responsive Design Excellence) Green Building Rating System of PHILGBC is the Philippines’ National Voluntary Green Building Rating System.
At Mackintosh Corporation we believe that green buildings and practices can make great strides towards the restoration of the ecological balance and diminishing the effects of global warming and climate change.
